When to use this process

Use this contact process for an allegation that material hosted on Academy Journey infringes your copyright. Academy Journey may link to third-party websites, but it may not control material hosted there. For content on another provider’s page, contact that provider directly.

What a notice should include

For a notice to be reviewable, a rights holder should provide the following information:

1. 01A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act for the owner.
2. 02Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list if more than one work is involved.
3. 03Identification of the material alleged to be infringing and its precise location, such as the page URL.
4. 04Contact information for the complaining party, including name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
5. 05A statement that the complaining party has a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
6. 06A statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that the sender is authorized to act for the copyright owner.

Review and follow-up

After receiving a notice, the site operator may review the information, request clarification, and take action that appears appropriate under applicable law.
